Franke Posted October 6, 2014 Share Posted October 6, 2014 I am having to add in a PCI serial card to my computer as my new motherboard didn't have a serial port built in. The card I have has jumpers to select the voltage for pins 1 and 9. My choices are 5v, 12v and RS232CD/RS232RI Which do I use? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Franke Posted October 6, 2014 Author Share Posted October 6, 2014 I bought some pieces from LOR for a small system many years ago but never used it other than to test out the 8 and 16 ch cards when I first got it. I bought the starter pack that came with the adapter and I had also upgraded the software to advanced. Only recently did I decide to play with the system but the motherboard in the new computer that I built did not have any serial ports. The version I started with is LORInstall-1-6-15.exe. I went up to LORUpgrade-2.0.16.exe then LOR-2.3.6.exe and I recently downloaded LOR-2.9.4.exe. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
