rgb strip lights and what is needed to connect to the 16 channel dimmer?

ok, a lot of questions to clarify what your asking.

 

What 16ch dimmer?  a CTB16 or a CMB16.

 

This is what im doing, dont know if this is what your looking for but,

 

I have a CMB24D, that will allow me to put 8 RGB Floods or in my case 8 5m 5050 RGB strips, now this is what they call dumb strips, the whole strip is controlled at once not each pixel on the strip. LOR sells a

8 Flood RGB and 8 RGB ribbon package with a DC controller board , or if your set on dumb strips then you can just get the CMB24D DC controller and get the strips somewhere else, or if money is no issue then i recommend

the CCR's that LOR sells.  the CCR's are a 16ft smart strip that comes with its own controller and are awesome if you ask me just to costly for me right now plus if your just starting out i recommend the first idea. get used to that and then advance to bigger and better things.  Hope this helped and here are a couple links to the items mentioned above.
