Elsa
Hello everyone , I have an lor dc controller issue and was hoping someone could point me in the proper direction . I am duel powering the controller , 12v on chs 1-8 and 5v on chs 9-16 . Problem is this , when I try this , the entire 5v side of the board stays on , even with the ch off . I have tried 3 dc controllers , one 16d and two 16d QC and have the same results . The instructions clearly state this can be done and I don't need to use the AUX barrel input as long as chs 1-8 are powered by 12v or higher . Am I missing something ? Tried all the usual , reset the board , lights off etc and it is certainly energizing the entire bank . Thanks for any and all input

Max-Paul
Ok, so you where trying to use a dual voltage power supply, like a computer power supply. One that would use a common ground? And what it took is two separate power supplies with the grounds isolated? I haven't tried this myself. Who would have thunk?
Elsa
That's exactly what I was using was a hacked ATX , Changed it to 2 supplys and it works perfect . I don't know , just as long as it works I guess lol
