BlackwolfK9
Am I correct that the CMB24D Deluxe DC card can only be used to control "dumb" rgb devices? I see that it can connect to a DMX universe. Also what is the purpose of the IDMX1000? Edited February 27, 2014 by BlackwolfK9
zman
You are correct, it will only control dumb devices. It can be part of a DMX universe as a dimmer, by virtue of the fact that it will respond to both DMX and LOR commands. This document will tell you more: http://www1.lightorama.com/Documents/DMX-DOC.pdf The iDMX is basically LOR's version of what is called a DMX Dongle. The difference is that with the iDMX, it can sit anywhere within your LOR network and spawn the DMX universe from that point. That, and it is a tad more expensive than other DMX dongles. There is more to the answer, depending on what you are considering. Edited February 27, 2014 by zman
scubado
The controller is for dumb devices doesn't have to be RGB. You can control a bunch of single color devices as well.
