Is anyone building their own laser shows?

I can tell somewhat of what I've done, just as long as it is not specific and kept vague...

Well, I'm sure there are people waiting for details...

And we're used to you giving vague answers anyway...

I am using pangolin quick show this year!  I'm so excited because last year i couldn't get it to work.  I have a 450mw RGB laser.  the setup to get the software to work is kind of a pain but it works.  I have the idmx1000 which sends the DMX signal to an ENTTEC USB Pro connected to the same computer.  pangolin reads the DMX input and sends the laser cues to the laser through the Pangolin FB3 hardware.  one thing I have noticed is that you have to fade the Access channel in LOR or else the laser cues get stuck.

last year I had problems getting this to work.  if you have a setup like I do I would contact ENTTEC and ask them about a special firmware for pangolin software.  it's specially designed to work with Pangolin QS and it makes the laser cues more reliable.
