LOR II Haiku

OK, everyone wants LOR II. I can barely use LOR I and I want it. I thought we could have some fun while we wait, so let's see your LOR II Hiaku. ;)

For those who don't know what a Haiku is:

Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry usually consisting of 3 lines. Each line consists of a set number of syllables (for this exercise lets go with the tradtional 5-7-5 form). The words do not have to rhyme, you just have to have the appropriate beats or syllables per line. There are lots of other Hiaku "rules", but I think we'll just ignore them for now.

I'll go first:

Oh Holiday lights
Flashing joy in the darkness
Bring us our new toy

Good luck, have fun, and be nice!!

Do most of you pronounce LOR as "El Oh Are", or as "Loar" (rhymes with door)?

I always do the former, but I notice some of the haikus require the latter to work...

Just curious...

Thanksgiving so soon
And I got so much to do
Oh, why did I wait

I Procrastinate
Find songs...download the music
make it look decent

The experts on here
Oh yeah, they know i rushed 'em
But the kids enjoy

New Years comes quickly
The lights come down. Start planning
Darn, late yet again.

"El Oh Are"

While I sit here and sequence,

I must work on my patience,

But if I wait much longer I will fall into a trance.
