WayneKremer Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 After reading the manual, I see that the iDMX1000 has a built-in terminator and it should be treated like the end of the line. This is cool and confusing to me at the same time. Since the iDMX1000 is sending out signals, I would think it would be at the beginning of the segment...not the end. Does this mean that another terminator is not required at the other end of the segment?I'm planning on only the output of the iDMX1000 being used. I don't need to use the input do I? I would think both the input/output would be used if the iDMX1000 were in the middle of the segment. Thx!Wayne
LightsByGreg Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Is a terminator required for short runs? (6 feet)
