Can you connect inputs to a LOR1602W without the header?

I think the input header I bought for my 1602W might be fried .

If this is the case, does anyone know if I could purchase something to slide over the pins and wire my inputs anyway?

 

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

You SHOULD be able to do it without them.  I don[t have a Pro Controller (I have a Home) but I am not sure of a replacement other than from LOR.

It's a molex-style connector.  I don't think RatShack carries them but any electronics parts store should.
