kryolla
the longest I have is 30 ft but its only powering 4 rgb rectangle nodes for a north pole and I dont know what the voltage drop is. Some people buy the 18/4 security wire but I found the cat5 is cheaper and it works in my situation
BlackwolfK9
Thanks Kryolla, new challenge, I've got the cmb24d now recognized in the hardware utility. How do I refer to it in my sequence editor so I can add the rgb floods to the show. Or point me to what I can read to find out.

vdipaola73
So back to the OP original question....here is a pic of my controllers I carry. Should give you an idea of how to build yours. You need PS, power cable, wire and some hardware. Also an enclosure if you want to mount everything inside one. You didn't state were you got your RGB floods? If from LOR...it comes with a 16' cable so you would be good on that part. Good Luck!! http://www.store.creativelightingdisplays.com/images/CMB24D-RGB-RTG-1.jpg
