clong00005
Aloha from Hawaii,I have a 12 CCR tree and 6 channel star for the first time this year. It is hard to find a good blue print on how to set this up, but I stumbled through and got my pre-made sequences up and running. I had a problem tonight after running 2 nights of shows. One strip wasn't responding correctly. Some info went through on some of the sequence, however there was about a third of the top of the strip that just stayed lit in white from the time I turned it on. A couple of things about my set-up. I have in this order, laptop USB485 adapter (the red fast one), 16 channel control box (for the 6 channel star), then the 12 CCRs-daisy chained together. Also I have all of the 12 CCRs powered on one home run with 2 power strips. Did I set this up correctly and could my problem be over-heating or too much draw on one power source? Do I need to split up 6 CCRs and run set-up as laptop, USB485 (red), 16 channel box, 6 CCRs, then out of another USB port on my laptop, USB485, and the other 6 CCRs? Sorry if this is a basic answer but I couldn't find a tutorial answer to my problem. Mahalo!Craig
