Now i'm relly confused!

I finally  got  my  E682 to work with  my computer  without  having  to  use my  home network.  So I plug  a few  strands of  pixels Run the  test program   and  they all   light up  as  they  should. Since I  have  only 4 strands of  Pixels  this  season  I  plugged  each strand  into  its  own  cluster using  the  1st plug in  each. I  set  the output  as  only 1 strand  per  cluster.  I gave each  strand / cluster   its own universe and  set  the   starting  addresses to  1 for  each universe.  In LOR I set  up the  4 universes  under the  advanced tab  using the  correct  ip for  the  controller(192.168.1.206)   I have  the  4 universes sequenced  for the  correct number of  Pixels and  channel numbers. When I  run the  sequence the  only  strand  that  lights is Universe 1.   Am I doing  something  wrong or  missing  anything?  The V4 firmware seems to be  straight forward but  one  never knows........

Can you post a screen shot of the E682 config page. Also your network config page in SE. There are several of us that are pretty good with those.

Hate to tell you that, but that is almost unreadable.  Please do it as a graphic screen capture.  If you don't know how, press the print screen key which will save the graphic into your clipboard.  Then open Paint and do a paste and then you can crop as needed and save the file.

Do you have the additional universes defined in the network configuration?

Everything looks configured ok from what I can see.

Only obvious question that I can see is your pixels plugged in to the first output of all 4 groups 1-1, 2-1, 3-1 and 4-1?

Well I re-read your post again and you clearly say you did that.

Why do you have univ 2 set up on 192.168.2.206 in the LOR network config?

That  is what  I  just noticed (fat fingers and I didn't noticed) when I changer it  to  192.168.1.206  everything  started to  work correctly  Thanks!!!!!!!

I am finding  out  it  usually is  something simple   that  can  drive one crazy  Lmao....

Glad you got it working.  I also noted in the E682 config that the strings are different types and lengths of strings.  Just making sure that is correct.  It could very well be.  Also note that since the strings on output 1-1 and 2-1 are the same, they can easily be on the same cluster.  The string on output 3-1 is the same type, but a longer length.  Therefore, it could also be on the same cluster as the first two strings, although you would have to set the cluster to 160 pixels for the string length.  This would "waste" some addresses on the what would be pixels 141 to 160 on the other two strings, but that really does not cause a problem.  That is really only an issue on hardware that will not support having a string span universes - not an issue with the E682.  The last string shown on output 4-1 would need to be on a separate cluster because it's a different pixel type.

I  set t he   strings on there  own cluster  because  I  only have  the  4 this  season and my sequences were  programmed for  4 different universes. I will  change next season. I had the  same  last  year  but  was  using  the  HolidayCoro  Tinypix controllers  which I decided  not  to use  because of  programming  issues... I  cnat  get  the  programming cables to last  more  than one  use.  For  some  reason they  keep   blowing  out no matter   what  computer I  use  them  on.I have  tried 4 different  cables and same  thing  happens  so  I will use  the   Tinypix someplace  else in the  future. Thanks  everyone for  the   eyes. (I am legally blind and  sometimes miss  things)
