Notisopse
Hi, the manual for my new CTB16PCg3 unit (16 Channel unit) says that the Unit ID can be set without use of a computer by using the 20-pin header. I've never done anything like this and the instructions don't go into detail. Can someone with more knowledge please explain to me how to use the pinboard to set the Unit ID to 02? Thank you! Notisopse
Also, I should probably mention that I bought it ready-to-go.
james campbell
I think what you saw is that you reset the board by powering down and removing the pin from the header and power back up for a few seconds power down again ,reinstall header and the controller resets to unit 1. to my knowledge you can't set unitt ids with the header alone
Notisopse
It says you can do it without a PC. I can scan the manual if that would help.
EARLE W. TALLEY
If this is what you are refering to please read it again: This 20-pin header located on the upper left of thecontroller circuit board provides for an auxiliarydisplay card and interactive trigger inputs. Both theDisplay Card and an Input Header will be availablesoon. The Display Card allows the Unit ID to be set withouta PC, display controller status and allows testing ofthe controller. With the Display Card, the Unit ID canbe set independently from the DMX address Where is says " Both the Display Card and an Input Header will be available soon."Untill this is available you must use a PC and the HU to set the unit ID.
