Connect a Pixel-P12R Controller to a USB485B Adapter?

I have a new pixel tree run by a P12R Controller.  Works good with the rest of my LOR show, however it requires my network port to be setup specifically for it.  Is there any way I can connect the Cat5 from this tree to a LOR USB485B adapter?  If so, how do you set it up?

I would think you have to go with the network port. I know it won't work with a LOR USB adapter.

Totally different signal voltages and also different protocol. Like speaking English in Greece. Just aint going to communicate real well. But you can do equipment damage due to the different voltages.
