dkoehler42
I have a 1602 controller with the header and the IR detector sold by LOR. The header instructions say to use two wire bell wire, while the IR detector says I need three wire. Can anyone help me here? I built a motorized prop that I'd like to use the motion detector for. a31ford
I would assume that 3 would be the minimum, as there is ground, positive, and trigger (N.C., if tamper is used, it would then be 4 wires) you can ground or positive one contact of each the trigger, AND/OR the tamper. Most switching is ground, BUT CHECK, just to be sure. Gregwhat is missing (i think) is that the 1602 only considers the "switch" portion in the diagram, where as, the PIR motion sensor needs power to run the switch.....
