ccr's

Just looking at the ccr's  that arrived the other day from the summer sale there is a date on them and it is    08/ 6/ 17   so I went and checked the other seven that I bought last year same date 08/ 6/ 17 anyone else see the date on their ccr's  is it when they were made or does it mean something else   ??????

It's their use by date (kinda like food and an expiration date)
