PaulXmas Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I making a pixel star and notice the bottom of the pixels don't look like they are sealed.I would assume that they would be seal considering we use these outdoors. What should I use to seal the pixels to make them water proof?
gmac Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I assume your using the pixel tubes to make the star........If it is all I did was squirt clear silicone into the ends and it worked great
PaulXmas Posted August 19, 2013 Author Posted August 19, 2013 Pixel tubes??? Nope have an idea, well it was the wife's idea that I made better. As I was attaching them I noticed they weren't sealed and could see rain or in my case snow getting inside.

PaulXmas Posted August 25, 2013 Author Posted August 25, 2013 Seal so well I probably submerge them in water and they would still work.
LightORamaDan Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 PaulXmas, If those pixels were from Light-O-Rama, Please contact customer support. LOR pixels should not require any additional sealing. ThanksDanLight O Rama, Inc.
plasmadrive Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I just made a bunch of pixel icicles and I used GE Silicon II to seal them with.
PaulXmas Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 Dan Yes they are from LOR.I bought them in the 2012 mad dash sale thinking they had C9 bulbs. So are you saying they are sealed????? I used almost a whole tube of sealant.
