khays Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I have a new CM11A and some appliance modules. I can operate the modules with no problem using the hardware utiliy. When I set a sequence channel to use X10 unit ID it is not working. I have set the network settings in the sequence editor to the same serial port as tested in the hardware util. Anyone see what I'm missing.

khays Posted October 1, 2007 Author Posted October 1, 2007 yes. in the same place you would set an LOR controller # and channel for a track I have set it to the unit ID of the X10 module.
JR V Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 My first thought is that you com port is locked up. I would do a restart and retry it. I have noticed that the cm11a some time can lock up the com port when you go from one program to the next.
LightORamaDan Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 It does sound like an issue with the port. Make sure that the Hardware Utility is not running when you run the sequence editor.
