Powering Lights on a DC controller CMB-16D

I am going to be controlling the majority of my display with DC boards this year, and I was wondering how to do it. For instance I have 16 channels, driving 24vdc LED strings. Normaly they are supplied with and powered by 8 1amp power bricks.

Can I team them together by connecting all the positive and all the negative wires together onto a figure 8 wire and connect that to the board?

OR

Do I have to buy two 24Vdc power supplys with sufficient capacity?

Do I buy a truck (24v) battery and a float charger and power the boards via suitably fused cables?

Wow... An official LOR user with 0 channels :)

You should be able to team them together as you described. The board has 2 power inputs put half on one side and the other half on the other side.

Official, well yeah...
Well I do have the full software now, I just need those 56 channels of blinky flashy goodness.

Wendy will probably be happier too when the mad aussie bloke stops bothering her.
