They make DMX Adapters(3pin) to Rj45 that connect directly to a DMX Stage light. Could one connect PC to LOR, Lor to DMX Stage light directly and then set the Config to have a DMX channel while still running in LOR network? or does one absolutely have to get an entec Pro? Jack Stevens Posted July 2, 2013 Share Posted July 2, 2013 The device you link to appears to be just a wiring adapter. It's not an interface. You can probably build one yourself if you pick up the XLR connector; Radio Shack sells them, but RS is a bit pricey on them. It can probably be used if you set up your LOR dongle to run raw DMX. If you'd rather use a DMX dongle, use one that Don metnions, or run the risk of being unsupported. The LOR software will see many different types of USB-to-DMX dongles as Entec or Lynx, but there's no guarantee that it will actually work 100%.
