can you increase a CCR's pixel number?

I plan on outlining the bottom windows of my house with CCRs.  However, a standard 50 pixel CCR won't work and I'll need 60 pixels to full outline the window.  Is there anyway to create a 60 pixel CRR on S3?  If not, is there someway to set up S3 so you can control 60 pixels together as one unit?  Thanks

You cannot create a 60 pixel CCR because a CCR only has 50 pixels on them. You can however run 2 CCRs, which would give you more channels, and you can set the CCRs to have different pixels per unit. For example you can set the CCRs to run only 25 pixels instead of 50, less channels that way.

 

You could also look into doing a different RGB set up, like SanDevices. They are a little bit harder to figure out a first, but they have a lot of options.

When you say you want 60 pixels do you mean you need a little longer ribbon than

the 50 pixel CCR or did you want 60 pixels instead of 50?

I just mean I need a longer ribbon.

If you are shopping around keep in mind that they make 50 pixel and 60 pixel ribbons, both are 5 meters.

So you need to go by length, not pixels.
