Mike Manzara Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 I downloaded the latest software 3.8.0 and the chase tool is not working. Is anybody else having this problem?
WilliamS Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 works fine. Check your sequence and I assume you are dragging it further than the actual lighted cells?

ItsMeBobO Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 You may have some low intensity effects you dont see. Clear the area first. Chase needs a blank area at the first row to know what to do.
George Simmons Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I've got 3.8 on 2 PCs and no problems chasing on either one.
Mike Manzara Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 Well I've cleared the area and it still doesn't work on my programming computer and my show computer.
Mike Manzara Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 The chase tool worked fine before the upgrade
David Rise Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I use a 2 laptops, one with Windows 7, the other with Vista. My show computer is a desktop running Vista. Neither of them have issues with chasing.
Karenwatt Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 What operating system do you have?I can't get the visualizer to work on my Win 7 laptop with 3.8, having to use a desktop, it's slow going since I have terrible mouse skills.
Mike Manzara Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 I'm using windows Xp media center
-klb- Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Did you have chase on a custom keyboard map that did not transfer over, and that you have not created on 3.8?
WayneKremer Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Be sure that Foreground/Background effects are turned off.
Mike Manzara Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 No.Still not fixed even after a reload of 3.8.0. I really liked that tool and want it back. Maybe 3.9.0 will fix it but I'm not putting much faith in it as it appears tehere is very little concern that my version of the software comes with very little support.
Don Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I've used 3.7, 3.8 and 3.9 this season. I can't say that I've run into any issue with the Chase Tool.

Turn on the Top Left channel, then select all with the chase tool.
k6ccc Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Does it do something wrong and if so what, or does it do nothing?
