Mr Dave
I am cutting one of my CCR's into 24 pieces. Do you think I could get away using the small wires that are inside a CAT5 cable for wiring them together? Using the recommended 22 gauge is going to add more weight than I want. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks,Dave
Tim Fischer
I would not go any smaller. Voltage drop is already a problem on these, even with the internal traces on the strip.
Frank Farmer
Dave,I cut one of my CCR's into 8 pieces and tried network cable to connect, it worked, but I had a few of them break because the coroplast it was connected to was flexing and so were my wires. I switched to 24gauage stranded wire and havn't had a problem since. I would highly recommend the stranded cable if you havn't already started your project.Frank
