redsea300
I did not run a show last year. So I figured I would update the firmware on all 27 controllers.I am running 1602W they are CTB16D Ver.4.32 (blue boards). LOR website show CTB16D ver 4.30. Some have version 4.40 Should I update to 4.3 or leave them alone. Thanks Don C. Edited October 9, 2012 by redsea300
LOR Staff
When it comes to updating firmware we like to tell people 'If it's not broken, don't fix it'. If you are not having any issues with those boards, there is no need to update the firmware.
redsea300
Thanks for the reply DevMike. That is what I though. I was thinking with the new S3 it might need an update.

Guest wbottomley
Is 4.32 blue board and 4.40 green board.Wrong.4.40 is for boards with a few changed components before Gen 3 boards were released. If you already have 4.40 and/or 4.32 installed respectively, you have the latest.Consult the firmware page for more details.
