Greg.Ca
Should the computer go down or any other computer related issue, this $100.00 'player' can this get me going quickly in the event of a problem?? Can this hold my 8-12 music MP3 files and all of my LMS sequences (we have over 400 channels)?Could this work and a quick alternative in the event of a catastrophic failure?? More importantly, what can it not do?? I am aware that is has no internal clock so scheduling is out of the question however what else can it not do?? For a hundred bucks, it just seems that I should have one of these for insurance. Thoughts??--Greg-- http://store.lightorama.com/midiwimp3pl.html
Don
Dennis Cherry used the mini-director with 4 (or was it 5?) CCR's one year. That was in addition to everything else he had in his display. I would expect that the mini-director would have no issues with your LMS sequences. When it comes to a backup, the mini-director would be a good choice. charlesphillips012
if you have access to another computer would you be able to just back it up onto that one, or would that not work?
JBullard
I use the mini director with 480 channels and 2 CCRs with no problems.Have already tested adding an ELOR in the mix for the DMX output.Actullay I have two of the mini directors - one for back up.
