BillTIV
I have run the set up with full intensity (5M 2811 strings), the enclosure does not warm up. Perfect solution.
scubado
Last night I was crying on Williams shoulder, figuratively, because I was having issues with my ball tree again. Last Spring during testing I was having troubles and found my power supply wasn't putting out enough, I think I've heard that before, anyway, I hooked up a bigger computer power supply and all was good. Now I am all setup and my power supply isn't doing it for me. My balls draw about 12amps max, the supply was rated for 19A each on two rails. Even using two supplies ain't doing it. So I ordered one from Amazon with a 30A service. I was an advocate of using computer power supplies, not anymore. Holidaycoro DMX controllers don't seem to tolerate a .5v drop. My tree is using about 100 meters of RGB ribbon.http://www.amazon.co...ils_o00_s00_i00I'm surprised this thread didn't popup for me last night when I was searching for power supply links. The ones I did find were sold out or down for site maintenance. Edited November 20, 2012 by scubado
