Guest wbottomley
Why would you need a spare chip for? In all of my 7-8 years, I've never need one.
Walter
Yea I have not ever needed one either, but was just getting a few spare parts for the year. I never know with my luck some times.

Steven
LOR is very fast at sending small replacement parts, like the comm chip. Last season, one partially failed (it could still receive LOR commands, but couldn't transmit, so the hardware utility couldn't see it).I replaced it using a chip from a spare controller board. (You have a spare controller board, don't you?) Within a few days, LOR sent a replacement, and now my spare controller board is working and ready to go!
