PaulXmas
Does LOR have a sample sequences showing the different effects using macros?Say a sequence the chases from one side to the other, then change it to a faster then slower speed.Sorry but I just can't wrap my head around the whole macro thing.Yet I know once I do I will not only save myself some time but be able to create some awsome effects. DLTSLC
I'm assuming you've already tried Bob's Macromaestro program ?
PaulXmas
I think so a long time ago.I am looking for a simple sequence that does a chase and a few other effects so I can see the differences and then adapt them to my display.

PaulXmas
Well I downloaded the samples but saw nothing in the visulizer?I used my file and changed the CCR unit numbers to match mine.Nothing ?!?!?!
DLTSLC
I don't believe the macros will show up on the visualizer, but Bob knows better than I. I setup 2 CCRs so I could see what they do as I sequenced. I'm not sure if you can do the same....
PaulXmas
AhhhSo how do you tell if it is doing what you want it to do if I can see it???
Steven
The macros will show up in the visualizer (but not in the animation window).

ItsMeBobO
OhhhhhhMy macro controllers are set to resolution 1.In your viz setup change to default resolution 1If you don't want to do tbis then you need to rereat the color in pixel 1 to all 50 or you need to use resolution 1 in macro channel

PaulXmas
I have given up on learning and will continue doing it the old way.I tried using the samples I got but could not figure out how to change them to do what I would like to do.I have enough networks to handle everything I throw at it and for me it is a whole lot easier.`
ItsMeBobO
You are invited to download MacroMaestro from my software page http://itsmebobo.com/SD.htmlMacros are certainly not required, but I do think they are a valuable tool in the tool box of options. I have several popular sequences which are nearly 100% macro . They can be very quick to program once you get the knack. Some videos are on this post. http://forums.lightorama.com/index.php?/topic/21448-newbie-near-stlouis-needing-some-help-to-get-started/I could whip up a video but I am not sure what part you are stuck on...
