jerrymac Posted February 7, 2012 Share Posted February 7, 2012 I have already used this setup with CCR’s and wanted to test with different RGB setups, This is a test with inexpensive rectangular RGB modules and the inexpensive 3 channel controller. (Available from Holliday Coro). Since they are dumb modules (in the attached video) no chase is available, but the blends work well as a whole group and brightness is very good. I have also tried with dumb RGB ribbons (150 per 5 meter and 300 per 5 meter) which work as good as CCR’s except the limitations of addressability. These have a nice neon type look and stand out very well. Due to the diffusion they look like a big long neon light that can be ANY color. The PVC frame is very light and very sturdy (as well as very good support for ribbon strings).
