RGB Glow Tubes

I have already used this setup with CCR’s and wanted to test with different RGB setups, This is a test with inexpensive rectangular RGB modules and the inexpensive 3 channel controller. (Available from Holliday Coro). Since they are dumb modules (in the attached video) no chase is available, but the blends work well as a whole group and brightness is very good. I have also tried with dumb RGB ribbons (150 per 5 meter and 300 per 5 meter) which work as good as CCR’s except the limitations of addressability. These have a nice neon type look and stand out very well. Due to the diffusion they look like a big long neon light that can be ANY color. The PVC frame is very light and very sturdy (as well as very good support for ribbon strings). In my Christmas display I made one of these 32 feet long that held two CCR’s end to end.
