Sequence stops and skips part of sequence in development during playback.

Developing sequence for song silver bells. During play back while in edit mode, the cursor stops on the screen while the music plays and skips several seconds before the cursor moves again through the sequence. Re-adding the light effects does nothing.

The first thing I would try would be to convert the audio file to a different format. For example, if you're using an MP3 file, try converting it to a WAV file, and then use Edit / Media File to point the sequence at the new WAV file.

You can do a conversion like this using an audio editing program; a lot of people like Audacity.
