Don
The same channel on 3 different controllers? (For example, Channel 3 on each controller?) Or different channels on each of the 3 controllers. How are you testing the controllers?
papap
Did you click on the "all lights off" button in the hardware utility?
TWright
Sorry for the delay, Don, and thanks for the reply. The problem is on three different channels on three different controllers. On one controller there are two channels stuck on ... ch. 4 & 9b... one each on two different controllers.I'm using the hardware utility to test.Thank you for your time,Tom
stanward
Can you measure the voltage off of that channel (when the hardware utility is not running)?Your problem may be a damaged triac. Also, did you power cycle your controllers? Turn the breaker feeding them to the off position, then turn them back on? Sometimes that will clear the problem as well.
Guest guest
If you're going to power cycle, you may as well do a true controller reset...few extra steps, but it clears the brain a bit more deeply.thats your simplest easiest step before doing any further troubleshooting at the board level.attached doc will guide you thru a reset.
