PaulXmas
I know you can't plug in an adapter into a PC controller and control say a 12 volt set of lights. But is there something I can use that will allow me to fade twinkle and so on, a 12 volt system? Jim Saul
how about http://store.lightorama.com/cmdedcca2.htmlif you only have a few low voltage channels you can also connect the 1-8 side of the controller to a different power source and it will work because the board is fed from the 9-16 side. PaulXmas
I am thinking about a project for next year and I want to do some of samethings with 12 volt that I can do with 120 volt lights. So the sequencing is the same as a normal controller? Max-Paul
The above link is for a DC controller board. You have to supply a power supply that will be used by the lamps you want to use. But as Jim was trying to say is this. The board needs 9 volts up to I think it is 60 volts DC. Now if you have some say 6 volt lamps. Then you will need to use a 9v or better connected to the 9-16 channel side and a 6v power supply on channels 1-8. So you will only have 8 channels for anything below 9v volts. You cant mix items of different voltage on the same 8 channels. And yes, you sequence for this just like any of the other AC controllers you are familiar with.
