jimswinder
I have (3) 25 minute shows, with each show having 8 different songs...then a 5 minute intermission between each show that allows the kids (and adults) to come up and push my Interactive Buttons.Depending on the weekday or weekend, these three shows repeat between 5:00pm and 8:00pm (Weekedays) and 5:00pm - 9:00pm (weekends), then the last hour every night I have a fourth show that lasts an hour which includes the "best" (in my opinion) of all my songs...Plan on adding a "5th Show" for after Christmas that will include Non Christmas songs..Current Playlist:Show I Song Title Artist Time 0:25:01LED Sign 0:00:11Griswold/Get This Season Started RPM - One Way Street 0:03:41Blue Christmas Elvis Presley 0:02:09LED Sign 0:00:11Most Wonderful Time Andy Williams 0:02:29Christmas Can Can Straight No Chaser 0:02:41LED Sign 0:00:11I Am Santa Claus Bob Rivers 0:03:22Snowman Various 0:04:14LED Sign 0:00:11CCR - Christmas Cannon TSO 0:04:17I Just Go Nuts At Christmas Stan Borsen 0:01:15Intermission 0:00:09Interactive Buttons 0:04:59Show II Song Title Artist Time 0:24:02LED Sign 0:00:11Angry Birds Pomplamoose 0:01:00Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree Miley Cyrus 0:02:20LED Sign 0:00:11Takin' Care Of Christmas Randy Bachman 0:03:27Snoopys Christmas Royal Guardsmen 0:03:10LED Sign 0:00:11Mary Did You Know Clay Aikens 0:03:16Hot Chocolate Tom Hanks 0:02:31LED Sign 0:00:11We Three Kings Go Fish 0:04:01CCR - Carol Of The Bells TSO 0:03:24Intermission 0:00:09Interactive Buttons 0:05:58Show III Song Title Artist Time 0:25:07LED Sign 0:00:11I'll Be Home For Christmas Josh Grobin 0:04:25All I Want For Christmas Mariah Carey 0:04:01LED Sign 0:00:11Christmas with a Capital "C" Go Fish 0:02:08Dueling Jingle Bells US Navy Band 0:02:05LED Sign 0:00:11Disco Santa Holiday Express 0:03:30The Last Sound (Sounders Theme Song) Grammatrain 0:03:53LED Sign 0:00:11CCR - Wizards In Winter TSO 0:03:06I Just Go Nuts At Christmas Stan Borsen 0:01:15Intermission 0:00:09Interactive Buttons 0:04:44Show IV Song Title Artist Time 0:57:55LED Sign 0:00:11Griswold/Get This Season Started RPM - One Way Street 0:03:41Most Wonderful Time Andy Williams 0:02:29LED Sign 0:00:11I Am Santa Claus Bob Rivers 0:03:22Takin' Care Of Christmas Randy Bachman 0:03:27LED Sign 0:00:11Mary Did You Know Clay Aikens 0:03:16CCR - Christmas Cannon TSO 0:04:17LED Sign 0:00:11Angry Birds Pomplamoose 0:01:00Snowman Various Artists 0:04:14LED Sign 0:00:11Blue Christmas Elvis Presley 0:02:09All I Want For Christmas Mariah Carey 0:04:01LED Sign 0:00:11CCR - Carol Of The Bells TSO 0:03:24Christmas with a Capital "C" Go Fish 0:02:08LED Sign 0:00:11Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree Miley Cyrus 0:02:20Dueling Jingle Bells US Navy Band 0:02:05LED Sign 0:00:11Hot Chocolate Tom Hanks 0:02:31Disco Santa Holiday Express 0:03:30LED Sign 0:00:11We Three Kings Go Fish 0:04:01CCR - Wizards In Winter TSO 0:03:06I Just Go Nuts At Christmas Stan Borsen 0:01:

heystew
We try to keep ours in the 12-14 minute range. Last year was 13 minutes, this year is 14 minutes. I also have 11 and 9 minutes shows on standby for when the traffic backs up too far. It's getting to the point that on weekends we start with the 11 minute show and then cut back from there if needed.
plasmadrive
We run about 15-18 mins.. I also have the narrow streets and didn't really think it thru as much as I perhaps should have. I don't want it to be any longer because some do actually stay and watch the entire thing. Some even turn their radios up loud and walk out front.. That is the part that I am worried about. Imagine when 5 or six cars do that at one time..My neighbors love it SO FAR... since this is the first year.. but when I expand it next year it could be trouble. I have lots of driveway to park on but that would be in back of the show and that won't work either.I gotta figure out what to do with the traffic. lightzilla
In times past I have been running about 1.5 hours per SD card & I have two cards with different music on each one. This year I am running 20 minutes on 1 SD card & about the same on the second SD card. All full length songs for the most part.I can have 5 hours of songs where I live. No matter how long the sequence is or how short the sequence is people stay for no more than a couple of songs.
Mwhite7097
We have ample parking so I run a 35 minute show on the hour. This allows time for those who have just seen a show to hit the donation box and leave before the next wave of cars comes for the following show. I run 4 different shows with a total of 35 songs. Some songs are favorites and overlap but most of the shows differ. We get about 35-40 carloads per show.
