Speakefamily
Have had lots of rain and some of the channels are not working on various boxes and sometimes the GFI pops. Control boxes (1602W) are not wet inside. Tested individual items all all work when not connected to control boxes. Dried all plugs/sockets connected to the control boxes. Any suggestions to fix? How do you weatherproof the plugs?
cmoore60
Are you testing all of the outputs on the same power source that has the GFI? Are you only testing one at a time? The GFI compares current out to the current return. So if you are only testing on output circuit at a time that may not reach the threshold to trip the GFI. Whereas when you run the show on the controller. There are more circuits on at a time and it is accumalative in nature.Chuck
dstevens
I would double check the inside of your boxes. I had problems after a wind-driven rain. While the inside of the boxes appeared to be dry, there was a very small amount of water on the board. A few minutes with a hair dryer did the trick. TMart
I used a hair dryer and it took a lot of drying -- it surprised me how much hot air to dry it out - and back workingted
