Caleb Linburg
How can I use part of a sequence in another sequence that has a different timing grid. When I copy paste from the song with a larger timing grid it only fills up part of where it should on the song with a smaller grid. Basically 1 block is equal to another block of a different size. I want it to be 1 second is equal to 1 second on all sequences. Not sure how to do this?
bob
There are different "paste mode" options. The one you describe seeing, where "1 block is equal to another block of a different size", is called "Paste by Cell". The one you describe wanting, "1 second is equal to 1 second on all sequences", is "Paste by Time".So, in the Clipboards tool panel, change "Paste by Cell" to "Paste by Time".You can read more about the different paste modes here. RickWIlliams
Thanks Bob,I had another cut-and-paste issue where I imported my new controller channel configuration on an existing sequence and when I would cut and paste the sequence marks from one channel to the correct channel it placed everything in one cell, sure enough, I checked the Clipboard Paste-By and it was set to Stretch to Fit, set it to Paste by Time and all is good. Thanks
