THAT could have been disaster...(and, some additional publicity for the show.)

Thinking we need to institute the "Winder Rule"...no display element for you is allowed to be more than 5 feet off the ground...

I wonder what the neighbors are thinking! :D
Probably rolling on the floor laughing their a$$es off :P
Looks like another year of poking fun at Jim again.

At least it's repairable this year, GOOD luck Jim getting it back together.

It's a good thing because we are going to rip on you pretty hard for the next year or 2 over your ongoing problems with such erections. :P As long as nobody got hurt and the lights still go blinky, then it is all good.

Jim,

You are the Colonel Klink of the lighting world!

Better to keep your feet on the ground next year.

Thanks for sharing your trials and tribulations. Hope we all took note :D

Well, instead of making fun of poor Jim's misfortunes, I have decided to stand up for him. Only because nothing he builds will!:)

Have you ever had one of those clear sided ant farms where you can see the ants build the tunnels? Have you ever shook it so the tunnels are all messed up? The ants will rebuild every time! Just think of Jim as a worker ant and his roof trees as the tunnels. It is entertaining for some sick reason.

Jim- I do hope your ribbons are ok- I'm sure seeing them all down gave you a sick feeling.

I was attaching one of my CCRs to arches and stepped the part hanging down before it was zip tied. I had to remove two pixels in the middle. Then stepped on it again after the repair. Some people don't learn.

sorry man, any idea about the cause?

have no idea...no winds to speak of...

I didn't even have the ribbons "set" yet...they were all just hanging straight down against the mast...so not much of anything to catch any wind...

The Peak wind gust recorded for Seattle for 20-21 Nov was 36 MPH so may be it was the wind....
