vincerules
I have a DC board with the quick disconnects, when I change its unit id to 5 in hardware utility, it works fine, but then when I power it down it loses its id.

Then the ID settings will be saved.

vincerules
Ok, I changed the dials to 0 and 5 but it still acts as unit 01. Is there something wrong with my board? Attached files
-klb-
Have you power cycled the board since settng the dials? They are only read at power up.
JBullard
Was the power OFF when you set the dials ?If so, try this. Remove power from the board adain. Spin each dial all the way around at least twice, then reset to unit 05. (sometimes the dial contacts will oxidise a little)Reapply power and recheck in the HWU.
