CCRs not looking good...

Well I have everything plugged in and ready to go.
Ran a couple of my sequences and ALL the CCRs are going funky things.

For example I have a chase from the start of one to the end of the other in white, one it goes to the end of the first ribbon it goes back (the chase does continue to the other 4.
And there are random colours left on.
In the sequence the CCR should be all white but there are random colours.

I have 4 CCRs and 13 PC controllers.
Ideas????

You may have your channels overlapping. Check all of your controllers to be sure they have the correct unit ids.

I will look at it for you if you want to share it.

Well I started out fresh and added the four CCRs.
CCR controllers are 17 18 19 20
Cat5 cable goes from a group of 16 channel controllers to CCR17 then 18, 19, 20 then to another group of 16 channel controllers.
Did a simple chase and am getting the same results :).
Then I had all four do fade up and down.
Controller 17 doesn't stay on where as the other 3 do.
I am going to remove the first one later on and see if they do what I have programmed them to do.

Still looking for any ideas

Test your CCR controllers/ribbons one at a time without networking.

Check your Cat5 cable. you might have to add ferrite if it is an RF issue

Also make sure your USB-485 adapter has an RF protected USB cable (very important)

And move your cat5 cable as far away from electric runs, especially if your using SPT wire

I had this same issue a few years ago and I had to do all these things 1 of my main problems was I had a bad CCR controller, the other was moving the cat5 away for the electric runs

and I tried USB cables without and with RF filters, yes it made a difference so thats where I would start
