akissfn
Just got my first CCR and have played with it via the quick start guide and inside a sequence..My question is however, I see the additional channel config under the 50 pixel channels but how do you get the macros to work? Am i missing a macro menu? Or am I just stupid?P L E A S E H E L PThe book did not help much when it came to sequence editor programming.

BillyT
Check out Bob-O's macro Maestro. Helped me a lot when I was trying to get a hold of the macro theory of operation. http://itsmebob.com/SD.html
tmscheum
It may help to watch this tutorial on "What's New in S3". It is long but there is a small section on sequencing CCRs at about 7 1/2 minutes using v2.9.5 Advanced. This section is about using the CHANNEL GROUPS feature to simplify RGB programming. It got me to buy the S3 license upgrade for 4 CCRs.By using the CHANNEL GROUPS feature you can collapse channel intensive features down to a single channel button in the sequencer. I have 6 leaping arches @ 9 channels per, a mega-tree from Darryl @ http://www.christmaslightshow.com/ with 3 colors @ 16 ch per color, 4 Marty Slack fans @ 9 ch each, and now 4 CCRs each with 50 RGB channels and 7 macro channels. I can now collapse each feature into a single channel button on the sequencer. I have 256 channels so it makes things a whole lot easier to track. I have yet to find a comprehensive guide to programming CCRs.You can also see more of Bob's tutorials at http://www.lightorama.com/bobpublic/
