About to purchase 1602w, need some help

I'm a complete noob, but I know a good deal when I see one. Looking at purchasing two 1602Ws for $250 each.

Don't know what else I need
I know I need software, lights, extension cords
I have a CPU

I need to know if I need additional hardware- the rf box thing, etc?

Might have answered my own question... I think the generic starter package from LOR is the answer. Please chime in though if I'm missing something.

You're right--the generic starter package will do the trick. Don't forget cat5 cable to go from your PC/USB485 connector to your first controller, and then from controller 1 to controller 2. www.Monoprice.com tends to be the best price for good cat5.

Also want to figure out how your visitors will hear the music. Speakers or, as most prefer, a FM transmitter so people will only hear it on their car radio. EDM's tend to be the best transmitters.
