I see no one has answered this. I have not powered up my Servo Dog since I got it, but maybe I'll pull it out this afternoon and play with PWM on it. I'll let you know what I find. It did not appear to be very hard from the manual...

OK. Fired up my Servo Dog and hooked up a 12V LED string. No problem at all. Worked just like I expected. Here are the connections.

First of all, power connections from power supply:
+12 Volt DC to V+ screw terminal
Ground to the "G" screw terminal

Then the connections to the LEDs:
+ side is connected to the V+ screw terminal
- side is connected to the M1 (for channel 4) screw terminal.

All there is to it.

Thats funny . I threw my RFE in the van on sunday
an was going to stop by your place after work to see your lights an to see your hook up for the RFE AN RF spotlights.
I thought i'd be done around 4 that would get me to your
house around the five o-clock start time, but i didn't finnish till almost 6 an i had to be home for
an online auction which i lost anyway.

One more thought. If my recolection is correct, and you are using one of the channels I did, be sure you have used the servo dog utility to configure the channel for dimming, instead of servo control. Is set for servo, it will faintly light a led, and nothing at all for an incandescent.

OK, Heres an update for yall.
ummm i wired up the SD to a 12vdc walwart put crossed
the positive and negative , the board smoked OMG quick
unpluged it. Wired it correctly hooked a cat five cable
to it an fired up the SD utility it recognized
the SD (good for me) set channel 4 n 5 to chase that worked. Then i set them diim and that worked. I then
figured what the heck may as well hook up my 6 servo skull
and write a sequence to HO HO HO Merry Christmas.
Hooked up the servo's and fired up SDU one servo twitched
an then the board went dark, checked the walwart it was dead hooked up another one after confirming it worked
and nothing. Its a sad day in the Mair household.
I do thank you all for your help.

Jeff
I rode my your place last night, its a good
thing you told me about the icicle lights otherwise
i would of never recognized your place. I went by you
buddies house on forkked landing road or whatever road its on
and his place was jumping. I thought i knew how to get to your place from there but ended up driving around your development. It seems everyone is in the Christmas
spirit over there. Its very festive looking.
