jeffl Posted October 17, 2011 Share Posted October 17, 2011 If you switch channels from an iDMX device to use a plain DMX device like the Enttec; do you need to change anything in how those channels are sequenced.i.e Will fades work the same. Do you do anything different than change the channel configuration?I just want to understand if I switch, do I need to reprogram things so they look the same or not. bob Posted October 17, 2011 Share Posted October 17, 2011 I'm not familiar with the hardware, so I don't know if there's anything special that has to be done to sequence for an iDMX1000 (other than the channel configuration). However, there's nothing special that needs to be done to sequence for a native DMX device (other than the channel configuration), so if there's also nothing special for the iDMX1000, then I imagine you won't have to do anything different (other than the channel configuration).
