rlw162 Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Does anyone who did beta testing of the CCF or see it at the show have any answer for the following question? Do you have any information on the light coverage area on a wall? I am trying to plan how many to purchase to flood my house with light. I was thinking for purchase 6 for 3 sides of my house, but this might be overkill. Thanks!

Mark Showalter Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 jimswinder wrote:Does this help you any?CCF Flood head info CF2D head.pdfI'll be looking for these when they're available as well. Thanks Jim.
Jim Hans Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 These are the only thing I need to complete my display this year and I am hoping they will be available. Haven't heard a word about them in months.
rlw162 Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 I was really hoping to find out how bright the units are if you use them for wall light washing. Since it is unknown when they will come up, I guess it is not that important.
MaxsLightsOwner Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 It sounds lile theyre gonna be really bright. Inoticed that in the pfd it states "permenant outdoor use", so these could be used a work lightsvwheb working late on show setup . I really want about 10 of these haha.
rlw162 Posted October 18, 2011 Author Posted October 18, 2011 I was hoping to have flood lights on 3 sides of my house, but the problem I have is, I don't know how many I need unless I know how bright they are. I am sure price of the until will factor in as well...
MaxsLightsOwner Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Here's some info I got from doing a little quick searching. I noticed he name "Rebel LED's" and did a search. This site gives you info on the Rebel LED modules that apear to be on the CCF. http://www.luxeonstar.com/Blue-Luxeon-Rebel-LEDs-s/7.htm
rlw162 Posted October 18, 2011 Author Posted October 18, 2011 Thanks for the information Maxslights. It is late at night now, and I have a really dumb question... If the CCF is a RGB flood light, is there a 'white LED' included with them?
VetteNut72 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 No white LEDs however the output levels of the r, g and b LEDs were chosen to provide the best overall color temperature and white balance.Craig
MaxsLightsOwner Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 I don't know if you have the CCR, but when the R, G, and B are all set to 100%, you get a bright white. This will be the same on the CCF.
rlw162 Posted October 19, 2011 Author Posted October 19, 2011 Thanks again Maxlights for the information. I do not have any CCR. I am going back now and including white in my CCF sequences. Hopefully I will have a few by Christmas.
MaxsLightsOwner Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 No problem. Also, how are the CCF's set up in the LOR sequence editor? Haven't gotten around to checking that out.
rlw162 Posted October 19, 2011 Author Posted October 19, 2011 It is pretty easy, just go to insert a channel and insert an RGB channel. I have done all of my sequences there for my CCF, once they come out I can figure out how to assign the channel settings to link to the CCFs. No news about the CCF or CCB does make is nerviness though. As long as it is out before Thanksgiving I will be happy.
rlw162 Posted October 19, 2011 Author Posted October 19, 2011 Cosmic Color Bulb. A lot of people are excited about it. It is a string of 50 bulbs with individual color control of each bulb. I think of it as CCR in a Christmas light string.
