50 Pixels or 150?

Are the pixels controlled individually or in banks of three? Newbie to CCR and I programed a chase and it appears three sections/(Pixels?) at a time chase. Am I doing something wrong? Are each group of three controlled at the same time or can I control each little area that lights up?

Should I be able to control 150 individual lights or only 50 sets of three on a CCR?

Its working correctly. The CCR 'pixel' is 3 LEDs. This is the smallest part of the ribbon you can control. There are 50 sets of 3 making 150 LEDs but just 50 pixels to control. It gets even more confusing when explaining the 50 pixels are controlled by 150 channels.

When the CCB comes out it will work the same but be less confusing because a pixel is 1 LED.

Ah, OK. Just wanted to understand.

I get the RGB thing I just didn't get the RGB was in each groupo of three pixels.
