How many channels does one count a CCR for?LOR equipment I currently have:(17) CCRs (150 channels each?) = 2550 ?(10) (LOR1602W) controllers (16 channels each) = 160(2) ServoDog controllers (8 channels each) = 16(1) CMB-16D-QC Deluxe DC Card (16 channels each) = 16(2) Easy Light LinkersThis does not include equipment from another vendor.So if we count CCR's as 150 channel devices my count totals as 2742How many should I count each CCR as?Each CCR can be addressed as 3 sets of 50 pixels (50 Red, 50 Green, 50 blue) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

George Simmons Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 Lots of different answers, Uncle, will you see to that question...An argument could be made for anything from 1 to 157. Personally I use 50, because that's how many RGB channels I'm programming with one. If I'm REALLY trying to impress a non-synchronized-lighting geek type, I'll use 150. Ed P Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 Not being all that impressed with numbers of channels you can see below how I count them BUT I use them for arches so just count them like that.These counts are meaningless in reality to the general public and just a way to express your complexity level to us hobbiests.
