mbettez
Does anyone have some sequences for a 5 pointed star outline done with one ccr? I like the way the star looks and it would be great if someone had some sequences already created for this. Thanks

I should be able to add some themes in the Instant Sequence feature just for a star.
BrianBruderer
Since my software is called the "SuperStar" sequence editor I figured I had to put a star layout into it. I have it in now and I am playing with the "Instant Sequence" feature with it. Most of the effects look cool, but some look a lot better on an arch than a star.I have created a star burst and a star implosion them just for the star, they of course look pretty cool. After I play with it some more I can put it out in the demo version, probably some time tomorrow. -Brian Bruderer
BrianBruderer
The free demo version of the software now has the star layout. To use it with the instant sequencer, do the following:Ctrl + I to launch instant sequence dialog boxPress the 'Load sample file' buttonClick on the 'Tools' menu, select 'Layout'In the Layout dialog box, select 'Star' for the shapeClick on 'Create Sequence' in the Instant Sequence dialogClick on 'Play/Stop Sequence'The last 10 themes are designed especially for a star. Also, the last 5 themes look best if "Move" is set to "None"
mbettez
These look awesome! I can't wait to try them out on my star in real life.In case anyone else is going to try this he has it set so the ccr starts at the point of the top of the star. It would make a difference for such effects as implosion and burst.
Jeff F
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Brian for his excellent program and support.Brian responds promptly when I have questions or difficulty. His improvements on his software have been ongoing and excellent. Anyone who has more than 2 CCR's should get this program. We didn't have time to experiment with our CCR's because they came late after the sale. Friday was our first lighting. They looked awesome. Now knowing what they can do using Brian's program wants me to do more.THANK's BRIANPS. We are experiancing a blizzard here in WI. Our lights (over 50K of them) were only on 1 day. melwelch
You mean something like these... http://vimeo.com/8241145http://vimeo.com/7878857http://vimeo.com/7879484http://vimeo.com/8240795http://vimeo.com/8240965Complete showhttp://vimeo.com/8563881http://vimeo.com/8553222 These were done last year to test out the CCR... The main thing on setting up the star outline is that each point of the star is 10 CCR pixels... I look at each point as if they were mini arches...I think I have some sequences over at http://christmascarolina.com/
