I'm just starting out with all this.Are you saying power the mini director with a separate power supply like maybe a DC battery. I wonder what kind of battery would you need. Is the IDMX the lanauge changer or some people call the dongle. Does that change the computer language to DMX lanauge? If so I have that. So do you put the mini director between the computer and the dongle or IDMX.
