zman Posted August 16, 2010 Share Posted August 16, 2010 In your sequence, you need to put a channel that is assigned to the iDMX that has the base address of your strobe.The iDMX comes from LOR with a default of E0. I highly recommend changing the ID to any ID that does not end in 0 (zero). This will allow the iDMX to operate in native DMX512 mode.I have a good example of just this set up in a DMX primer on my website. I walk you through the channel assignment in the sequence.Once you get your sequence set up properly, it is just a matter of downloading that sequence to your Director. This is also assuming that you have the iDMX in your LOR network chain, then the strobe is connected to the iDMX via (most likely) a 3 pin XLR DMX cable.
