(unless 50 or so, are on the back side, but based on the angle i doubt it)I don't use the sleeve method, but do use 1" pipe with 70 count LED lights, with 4 inch spacing, and string length of 24 feet, and end up with 20-22" sections, not wrapped very loosely at all. toddmoon Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 I used 3M electrical tape and marked out 18 inch sections to wrap 70 count LED lights. On the beginning and end of each light string I would finish it off with electrical tape.This will be my third year since I made the arches and the tape is still holding up well.
