I was looking to purchase LOR 8 pack RGB-Ribbon-150 for around $500. My question is this: is there a way to cut these (for around windows, doors, etc...) and link the cut areas back together to make it one piece again? I saw on some other websites where they were selling an "L" shaped item (looked like the inside of the strip) and you could use that to link the sides together again. Tim Fischer Posted December 24, 2013 Share Posted December 24, 2013 I agree with the above - hard-soldering them is best (with short little jumper wires). I use a flux pen and the solder flows right on the little pads. The bigger trick is making sure everything stays sealed/weatherproof. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
