I haven't investigated this projector, but for $230, it may be a good compromise for use with LOR. http://unclevic.com/Olens-Techonology-XPJ-Home-Video-Projector

The max resolution seems low....also the page never mentions lumen output...that is what is really going to matter. For all we know the thing may be as dim as a 60 watt light bulb!

300 lumens isnt going to cut it...most projectors made today are at least 2100 lumens!

Tom is correct - 300 lumins will light your wall from about 5 feet but nothing more, and the picture will be very small. The projector I just purchased at the office has 3600 lumens. My old used projector here at home has 1400 lumens. With a lamp life of 800 hours.

I would save your money.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Happy Trails....

There was nothing in the spec I saw which says the focal distances. If you are still considering it you should try to find out first. The low lumens could only work if you have total control of other light, which you wont if you are outside and have strings lit.
